The IMA-S electric servo actuator from Tolomatic is specially designed and constructed for use in the food and beverage industry. Built with a hygienic IP69K design from 316 stainless steel to prevent corrosion and hygienic fasteners/cord grips for easy clean-in-place and sanitizing. Powered by electric servos means complete control over the speed and position making the IMA-S ideal for applications with high, repeatable force. Also available is the IMA-SA model which incorporates an internal anti-rotate feature eliminating the need for an external guidance mechanism making it a perfect actuator for applications such as volumetric filling and pumping.
It's compact in design while still capable of stroke lengths up to 18 inches, speeds up to 19.6 in/sec and a max force of 2,500 lbf. Making it versatile enough to handle a wide range of applications.
